Why Absewlutley Amy?

Absewlutley Amy makes quilts not blankets. A quilt includes a quilt top, bottom and a layer of batting in between. Your T-shirts are treated with care. They will be quilted with a layer of batting and a high-quality cotton backing fabric. We use a Baby Lock long arm quilting machine and our stitch pattern is less than two inches apart for quality and density. This keeps all three layers stabilized and will make your quilt last a lifetime. This matters when you are using T-shirts that have been loved for years. Our quilting process ensures that they are quilted to last. This applies to our traditional style. Our rag style is quilted as well, but they are quilted in a basic X pattern across each square.

There are some t-shirt “quilt” companies out there that make blankets. These are inferior in quality and are economical for a reason. They are not made with the same quality of fabrics or construction. It’s like my Daddy always said, “You get what you pay for”. Keep this in mind when searching for a way to quilt your memories.
